Do you charge a fee for assistance in job searching?
No, there is never a fee to our employees.

Do you have a referral-based program?
Yes, we welcome all referrals! Referral compensation is available to you based on the position your referral is seeking, provided the employee works the minimum required hours.

When do we get paid?
All employees are paid on a weekly basis. Typically, Friday is payday for hours worked the previous week.

What are the requirements to become an employee?

Candidates must have a consistent work history, preferably at least 4 years of work experience, good professional references and the right to work in the United States.

If I'm unsatisfied with a position, what is the proper protocol?
While we pride ourselves in providing great matches between our clients and employees, sometimes an employee may not be satisfied with their new position. In those cases, we prefer that you discuss your concerns with one of our Staffing Consultants who, if necessary, will discuss the outcome with our client.

Is direct deposit available?
Yes, direct deposit is available and all that is required to set it up is a voided check and a short form filled out by you.

How long is the process for you to find me a job?
The timing is different for everyone, but in general it is based upon both the employee's needs and qualifications, as well as those of our clients. We strive to assist everyone in finding suitable positions in a timely fashion.

What is expected of me as an employee?
We ask that you show up to work on time, that you are dressed appropriately for work, and that you fulfill the requirements of your job on a daily basis. In the event that you cannot meet those expectations, please contact one of our Staffing Consultants for assistance.

If I should become ill and cannot show up to work, what is the protocol?
We ask that you call our office at 805-983-3959 and either speak to a Staffing Consultant or leave a message on our voice mail when calling after hours.

Are benefits available to me?
The following benefits are available to you upon hire: Direct deposit, referral bonus, safety bonus and 401K.

What is the advantage of using a temp employee?
Using a temp employee is an option for companies that need extra help during their busy season, or when filling in for regular employees on vacation or medical leave. Quest's rigorous hiring standards and unique programs allow employers and employees to work together for a specified probationary period to confirm that the placement will be a good match.

What makes Quest different from all the other employment services in the area?
Quest is locally owned and operated—our team consists of highly qualified individuals who are very involved with their community and who have longevity with Quest Staffing. While the employment industry is one with very high turnover, we pride ourselves in having long-term employees who are committed to finding you only qualified candidates to place at any level of your company.

We take the time to listen to the clients needs and may interview many candidates before finding the right fit—but if the perfect match is not available, Quest will always advise you thoroughly. Our long-term relationships with the local business community have fostered trust in our ability to consistently recruit the best possible applicants for any position.

How long have you been in business?
We have been in business for 21 years.

If I need to end an employee's assignment, who do I call?
Quest will handle all offers and endings of an employee's assignment. Please call your Staffing Consultant representative and they will handle it from there.

How do you test employee's skill sets?
Quest has invested in testing software for all the latest software and accounting packages. Employees are not considered for any position requiring software experience without first testing at the Quest office.

Do I have to pay for direct hire recruiting up-front?
No, there aren't any up-front fees for direct hire recruiting. Fees are due and paid once we both agree that a suitable candidate has been found and has begun work.

What is your screening process?
All employees must have consistent work history, good employment references and be eligible to work in the United States. Criminal background and drug screens are available at an additional charge to employers.
